REFRESH
They signed me to play in the majors. At least that’s what I attributed the raise in pay to mean.
Spring training was more of a review of old techniques with coaching guidance.

Even thought I always looked at everything through my eyes, I allowed my perception to include whatever pointers that were thrown out.
I watched those that had been up for time longer than me and listened to anyone who spoke, whether the info was good or bad.

When the season finally started, I was sent to the bullpen for long relief, which means getting paid to watch.
But luckily, my manager realized I needed time to continue to improve, so I was sent down to the same minors I labored to get out of.
Only this time, I’ve approached it different.
I’m moving in and out of trouble quickly and abusing the weaknesses that I see as clear as morning light.
Am I ready for a call-up? Only time will tell…
