SOMETHING – 3
There was no movement with the girl I tried to impress, tried to grab the attention of at the hotel I’m staying at.
She stays down the hall and I don’t know her story cuz she doesn’t seem inclined to tell me.

I’ve tried to, I don’t know, be the man she’s looking for, but it’s seems clear that that man is someone else.
But if I wasn’t a little stubborn, I wouldn’t be my mother’s son.
I’m thinking about moving out, but I don’t want to go without something.
At this point, an outright rejection would be better than nothing.
I could take pride or pleasure with the fact she gave me her room number, but it wasn’t an invite to knock on the door.
So should I wait till I move out to call?
Then again, there’s about four other chicks which I can do the same thing with.
These are the thoughts going through my head as I try to pitch out of this jam.
It went to a full count and my change was unexpected. He rolled a slow one towards third and was thrown out by a step.

Inning over.
